Android, iOS and Huawei share one user ID. Install from gbets.co.za or the Apple listing, then sign in. Book-a-Bet is the flow that tells you not to log on.
Independent guide, not operated by Gbets. This page explains the operator’s process. It is not a sign-in form and it never asks for your password.
App install
- Android file from gbets.co.za only
Open the operator’s site on the phone and use their download control. Decline an APK offered in a chat, an email or a forum.
- Allow the install only for that file
Android may warn that the file is outside the Play Store. Continue only if gbets.co.za served it, then allow installs from the browser that downloaded it.
- iPhone: the Goldrush listing
App Store name “Gbets - Sports Betting”, id 1612069593, rated 18+, iOS 13.0 or later. Read the version on the store page the day you install.
- Same user ID as the website
There is no separate app password. Huawei is named in their article. A current AppGallery listing was not confirmed, so use the link on gbets.co.za.

Install from Gbets or the official store listing
Gbets’ own article says the app is available on Android, iOS and Huawei. Install from gbets.co.za or from the Apple listing named on the download page. Do not install an APK from any other site.
- 2
Open the app
The article says the downloaded app appears with your other apps. Their iOS page on gbets.co.za did not add extra install steps when we read it.
- 3
Sign in with the website account
App login uses the Gbets user ID and password. The terms describe one account login, not a separate app password. Enter it in the app, not on this guide.
- 4
Use password reset on the login screen if it fails
The FAQ reset is written for the website login page: Reset password, then the account email. Use that if the app will not accept the password. Contact onlinesupport@gbets.co.za if the email does not arrive.

Know when not to log in
Book-a-Bet is the exception. Those terms say to open the website or the mobile application and not log on, then book the slip. Normal account use still requires a login.
What Gbets has published about the app
Their article “Why use our Android, iOS and Huawei apps?” says the app is offered on those three platforms and gives a four-step download: open the link on your phone, tap download when asked, let the file download, then find the app in your app list. The article also mentions goldrush.co.za. It does not publish an Android version number.
Apple lists “Gbets - Sports Betting”, powered by Goldrush, provider GOLDRUSH GROUP (PTY) LTD. The listing we read is rated 18+, requires iOS 13.0 or later, and shows a size of 7.2 MB. Size and build change. Read the store page on the day you install. The version history visible on that listing ran through version 1.5 on 24 August 2023. That is not a statement that 1.5 is the build Apple is serving now.
We could not confirm a Google Play listing or a Huawei AppGallery listing. Huawei is named only in the Gbets article. Use the download path on gbets.co.za rather than a search result that offers an APK.
Same rules as the website
The account is still one account. FICA, the 18+ rule, South African bank details and the password rules do not change because you opened the app. Deposits and withdrawals from the phone use the same cashier rules as the deposit and withdrawal pages.
Common questions
Is there a separate Gbets login app?
Gbets describes one app on Android, iOS and Huawei, and one account. “Gbets login app” means signing in to that app with the same user ID and password as the website.
Does the app need its own registration?
No separate registration is described. You register once on Gbets, then sign in on the site or in the app.
Can I book a bet in the app?
The book-a-bet terms say you may use the website or the mobile application, and that you do not log on for that booking. The slip is paid at a Gbets outlet.
Where do I get the current app?
From the download control on gbets.co.za, or from the Apple App Store listing “Gbets - Sports Betting” by Goldrush. The download page explains versions and why a third-party APK is the wrong file.
