You get one Gbets account, in your own name, if you are 18 or older and in South Africa. A second sign-up is blocked, even when the first password is lost.
Independent guide, not operated by Gbets. This page explains the operator’s process. It is not a sign-in form and it never asks for your password.
Account setup
- One account, your name
Register as a natural person of 18 or older with a South African address. A company cannot hold an account, and a second account in your name is blocked.
- Keep the user ID
EFT deposits use the user ID as the payment reference. A name or a phone number in that field is how payments go missing.
- Use a bank account you own
EFT withdrawals are paid back to the account that deposited, and only in the registered account holder’s name. A non-South African bank is not paid.
- Wait for the confirmation mail
If it is late, check spam and then email onlinesupport@gbets.co.za. Starting another application creates a duplicate, which the terms say is blocked.

Check that you are allowed to apply
You must be a natural person of 18 or older, with capacity to contract, not excluded under section 14 of the National Gambling Act, and not already holding a Gbets account. Companies cannot register.

Fill in every required field
The terms say an incomplete form can be declined. Details include your full names, South African residential address, gender, date of birth, email, telephone, and the FICA items on the registration page.

Wait for the email
When registration is completed, Gbets sends a confirmation email with the account details. If the application is rejected, they say they notify you the same way.

Sign in once, with the new user ID
The first login uses the user ID and password you chose. Keep them private. The field-by-field order and that first login are set out on the registration page.
What “accepted” means
Sending the form is an application. The terms say Gbets may accept it, decline it for any reason, or decline it specifically when the form is incomplete, the information is wrong, or requested documents do not arrive in the way and time they set. They also reserve the right to change the registration form.
By completing the form you accept the website terms and the betting rules published on the platform. You also consent to identification, screening and source-of-funds checks. Gbets can tell a regulator about those checks. Read that consent on their terms before you submit. A short version of the documents they can ask for is on the FICA page.
There is no promo code on this page. If Gbets shows an offer during sign-up, the terms linked under the table are the ones that apply. The same figures, in a shorter breakdown, are on thehome page. Rows that contradict themselves are marked in the table.

After the form
Finish the application, open the confirmation email, then sign in on gbets.co.za with the new user ID. The registration page lists the fields the terms name. If the password is already forgotten, use password reset instead of a new sign-up.
Common questions
Is “gbets sign up” different from “gbets register”?
No. Both mean opening one Gbets account through the operator’s registration form. This guide does not offer a separate sign-up.
Can I register for someone else?
No. The terms prohibit an account in another person’s name and prohibit letting someone else bet with your user ID.
Do I need to be in South Africa?
Yes. The terms say bets can only be accepted inside South Africa, and Gbets does not open accounts with non-South African addresses, contact details or bank accounts.
What happens if I already have an account?
Do not register again. The terms say a duplicate account is blocked. Use the password reset if you cannot sign in to the original account.
